Rasoolullah Sallallahu alaihiwasallam was praised in front of him by Sahaba RA. See below. Where is the question of any bidath hassan or otherwise?

Sahabi Hassan ibn Thabith RA was a favourite poet of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihiwasallam. Hassan was on the mimber at the nabi's masjid at Madina; Nabi and sahaba are sitting before him. Nabi wants Hasan to recite a poem in praise of Nabi. A part of the poem:
"Ya Rasoolullah! Allah tha'aala created crores of creatures according to His liking; Allah tha'aala created you according to YOUR liking." Hear the absorbing lecture

Wa ahsanu minka lam tara qattu aini
Wa ajmalu minka lam talidin nissa'u
Khuliqta Mubarra' an min Kulli aibin
Ka-anna-ka qad khuliqta kama tasha'u

And I have never seen anyone more strikingly handsome than you
And no woman ever gave birth to anyone more nobler than you
O Holy Prophet! You have been created free from all defects
It is indeed as if you have been created just as you wished

On the night of the Ascension Archangel Gabriel came with glad tidings
Your Lord invites you to the heavens, bestowing upon You the honour of intimacy
